Wow! What a fantastic post! That’s one of those I wish every follower of Christ could read. We so often lose sight of the fact that Jesus set his sights on going lower and lifting people up rather than being lifted up Himself. And when He sought to be lifted up it was on a cross for the benefit and love of others. Freedom has become a “buzz word.” But, oh how I yearn for the reality of it to increase more among God’s people and all across this nation and around the globe. Freedom apart from the revelation of Christ is like swimming without water.

Wayne, you really knocked it outta the park with this post. Jay and I were discussing this very thing yesterday. He was telling me that at a continuing ed thing for CPA’s, he was told the NUMBER ONE reason for fraud and corruption from an accounting stand point is from leaders who think they are above the law.

This comment has nothing to do with your blog per-say, I just wanted to say thanks be to God thru Christ Jesus for blessing you with his wisdom that you have shared with babes in Christ as myself.

I have listened to your “transition” recordings a couple of times to ensure I fully understand the message of living and loving the father without fear. Gotta to tell you, it’s like nothing I’ve ever heard. The perspectives are so simple yet endearing. I am a changed man at 41 and I truly believe you’re on to something…

P.S. I am from the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. My country recently hosted the Summit of the Americas. Peace and God’s Blessings to You, Sarah, little Amy and the rest of your family…

Your blog was well put. We are a country of idolaters. Whether it is government officials or sport’s stars or entertainment celebrities, we seem to fall down and go ga-ga. In regards to the church culture, the put on a pedestal celebrity of the pastor (small or large church) is beyond belief to me. I do not call anyone pastor or elder or bishop or whatever they wish to put in front of their names. I wondered if that has become their first name – Pastor Mark or Elder Joe or Bishop Bill. It saddens me to see how we have so neglected scripture to put these men on these pedestals and so upset when they fall off of them.
I look forward to the time when we are just brothers and sisters.

I love this blog post Wayne. And a quote came to mind while reading it that seems to fit and explains why cultures like ours and many others that have gone before us seem to end up in very similar places.

“The more a society magnifies human greatness, the more one will see men alienated, enslaved, imprisoned, and tortured in it.”

But even so the message of our liberator continues to move on as his life comes alive in indiviuals that get tired of the old destructive dance. It remains the hope and power that sets hearts and minds free and make life, love, grace, compassion and equality possible for all and a reality to those who hear his voice and respond with the courage to let that life transform them.
