Wow!!
Thanks for sharing this! It really offers me hope, as my "in-law" family is staunchly Catholic, and I have really battled a fear of their finding out my new freedom from religion which has come about largely as a result of my reading this Jake book, this website (Lifestream), and The Shack. I am a different person now, and yet still struggling with "coming clean" with them (and my own extended family- although they R not Catholic, nor is that my background - I grew up Baptist) about how differently I view EVERYTHING now.
Slowly but surely, Papa's winning my heart in such a way that the fear is gradually dispelling, as I'm learning to walk in His truth. I am just encouraged to hear that this family, in this post, was so open to seeing thru their religious grid, and were actually receptive to truth that challenges accepted paradigms. Thanks for posting this story!
