After looking at the new picture up front of the God Journey, I have to say that it still spooks me. Every once in awhile I have a dream of driving on a road by a body of water, then the road disappears and I don’t know if I can make to anywhere safe.
Sorry, Fran! We weren’t looking to scare anybody…
But we did want to mess with people’s sense of security in the temporal and know that we can’t generally figure out the end of the roads God sends us down. Our security has to be in him, not in the certainty of our outcomes as we enjoy it.
They key is our safe place no matter what the road looks like ahead, and maybe even at some point we leave the safety of the land to roll on the waves with him…
Anyway. I’m sorry it spooks you.

It’s OK. Those dreams fall into the same category as my “lost in the city”, “lost in the country” or “lost in the mountains” dreams. It makes me go to my Father to ask what is going on that my poor mind has to sneak up on me while I am asleep to complain about how life is going.
