How's this for nuts---we drove from Tennessee to Montana in two days. With three kids. Yep---we're nuts. But I will say this. I grew up on the Kitsap Peninsula which is between the Olympic peninsula and Seattle. I hope you get to ride a ferryboat sometime. "Till We Have Faces" is a book I haven't had a chance to read lately either since our copy got worn out. Another story that I recently found again on the web is "The Golden Key" by George MacDonald. Try it with twin four month olds and a neighbor kid with unlimited supplies of money *shudder* I can still remember how angry and exhausted I was.
